Hi, we’re Mukesh Rai and Rakesh Roy, the people behind Zarinoor.
Honestly, Zarinoor didn’t start with a big investment, a big team, or a perfect plan.
We come from simple backgrounds, and like many people, we had a dream of building something of our own. Starting this business meant taking risks, dealing with financial pressure, borrowing money, making mistakes, and having many sleepless nights.
There were definitely times when we wondered, “Will this actually work?”
But we kept going.
We started Zarinoor because we wanted to build a jewellery brand that felt personal to us. Something that we could proudly recommend to our own sisters, friends and family.
From the beginning, we made ourselves a simple promise:
If we wouldn't buy it or gift it to someone we love, we wouldn't sell it to our customers.
That's why we personally spend time selecting and checking the jewellery we bring to Zarinoor. We look at the design, finishing, quality and how it feels when you actually wear it.
For us, jewellery isn't just about looking good.
Sometimes it's a small gift from a brother to his sister.
Sometimes it's something you buy for someone you love.
And sometimes, it's simply a little something you buy for yourself because you deserve it. ❤️
Over time, we've realised that building a business is not only about selling products. It's about earning someone's trust.
When someone places their first order with us, they are trusting us with their money.
When someone gifts Zarinoor to their sister, mother, wife or friend, they're trusting us to be part of an important moment.
And honestly, that means a lot to us.
Today, we're proud to call ourselves business owners. But we haven't forgotten how this started.
We're still learning.
We're still making mistakes.
We're still trying to improve every day.
And we're still chasing the same dream we had when Zarinoor was just an idea.
We don't know how big Zarinoor will become.
But we know how we want to build it — slowly, honestly and with the trust of every customer who chooses us.
